Reason why: Tardis is a floating 20th century phone box for police. Somehow, the doctor made it so it can be a time machine. It has no defenses itself, besides launching people out of it unless the Doctor says otherwise, and the Doctor is the only one who can use it. You're not the doctor, so you should've been kicked out by Tardis already.

The tardis can ram itself into you and dodge anything you throw at it if it fails it will just go back in time.

Exactly. And how do you know that I am not the Doctor? Or maybe I have the Doctor in my closet. Who knows? And the Tardis can just go back in time, grab a few nukes, and rain them down on top of you. Simple.

1. No one can fit a nuke inside Tardis.

3. The Doctor can easily kill you with the screwdriver, and you kidnapped him.
4. No one can dodge fire that easily. Most likely the Tardis will get scorched pretty badly.
