It's over.

The wind howls sadly as a tumbleweed blows down the street. The shops are boarded up and there is nobody in sight. The only color that stands out against the world yellowing with age is the bright red graffiti that has been painted over the boards covering the museum doors, which reads: "It's Over". A black cat suddenly jumps out of the shadows and claws at your pant leg. You recognize it as the feline from the recycling shop. You collapse into a sitting position and let the cat sit on your lap. You stare down the street, remembering the glorious Venus Avenue as it was no less than two years ago, with sparkling windows and a well-paved street. But nothing can last forever; you know that better than anyone by now. There is no setting sun- in fact, there does not seem to be a sun at all anymore; the sky is a monotonous brown- but you feel a sense of closure as you see this abandoned world for what is most likely the last time. You stand up, holding the calm, purring cat in your arms, and you turn and walk back out of the gates and away from Venus Avenue once and for all...

OOC: Bravo for your last post. You certainly have a knack for writing and storytelling. But, will you end the site like this? Give it one grand send of, with the old members of the pack with you. One last game, as it started many years ago. When three boys set off for an adventure, where they met and made friends who joined in their quest for fun & laughter. The boy who fell from the spruce tree, to the girl who became an axe murderer. Find your friends, and have a proper one.

IC: The cerulean colored pegasus watched from the decaying library as the last member of the pack left the Avenue, stroking a cat in his arms. The pegasus felt an urge to call out to him, to fly to him, to tell him one still remained. But alas, his voice has gone, and his wings were only now shriveled bone and feather, from the lack of food. He watched as the boy walked away, silently shedding tears as his last friend left.
